✦ THE GUESTS ✦

Current occupancy:

SHERI
The Moon
Sheri perceives in layers. She is right more often than she can prove, leaving her frustrated that she can not provide evidence. Her self-doubt isn't a flaw to be cured, it's the thing that keeps her honest about how little anyone actually knows. Sheri's vivid imagination is a two-way door, and her intuition often tips into paranoia. Silence becomes interpreted as judgement, space becomes rejection. She must learn to move through the dark without pretending to see.
DALE
The Sun
Dale is a man with no armor, no strategy, and nothing hidden. His generosity is unforced. He does not keep a ledger, doesn't remind people what he's done for them. Dale has almost no instinct for self-protection. He'll over-give to someone who takes without noticing, and he'll be genuinely surprised when it stings. He is a performer, providing warmth well after the tank is empty because stopping would mean disappointing someone. He can be cheerful and hollow at the same time. He must learn that the sun's shadow isn't darkness, it's naïveté.
RENEE
The Star
Renee embraces both feeling and fact. She balances the mystical and practical, without needing to collapse into one or the other. She chases mystery to prove she can survive it. Renee has trouble trusting her own intuition, since it has failed her before. She must learn that the light she's following was never something she had to go get.
CLIFF
The Hanged Man
Cliff solves his own problems, forms his own conclusions, and considers needing help a kind of inefficiency. His library is real, his citations are real, and his conclusions are usually defensible. That's exactly why his blind spots are so hard to reach. A man who is often right has very little practice at being corrected. Every belief he waves off is a vantage point he's refused to try, and refusing vantage points is precisely what isolates him. He must learn to open his eyes to new perspectives, to listen to someone's belief without auditing it.
DEBORAH
The Tower
Deborah's goodness is defined by obedience. She uses kindness as currency. Quiet and sweet, she pretends not to question the beliefs she has been raised with. Internally, she is collapsing. Each new experience contradicts the sheltered world she grew up in. Deborah's survival strategy rests on a hidden bargain: if I stay compliant, I stay safe and I stay good. She must learn that goodness is hers to define.
