THE SIGNAL BOARD

We saw a white light on the coast road that appeared to follow the car. It stayed at the same angle until we stopped near the beach. Then it slowly vanished. My passenger and I still disagree about whether it ever moved.

telescope_tom, was it always on the sea side of the road? A distant light can seem to follow a moving car.

Mostly, yes. My passenger says it vanished behind the headland and came back when the road opened up.

That sounds compatible with a fixed light offshore. Did either of you see it turn independently?

latebus: neither of us can be sure. I remember being frightened more clearly than I remember its motion.
